On a lovely foggy and frosty winter's day, I was exploring a new corner of my local forest in the north of Switzerland. I really love these small expeditions, but it's also important to me not to disturb wildlife or destroy plants. After climbing a steep slope, sometimes crawling on my knees to keep from slipping down, amid all the bare beech trunks, this beautiful specimen caught my eye, adorned with its pretty branches covered in copper-colored, slightly frosted foliage. After walking back and forth to find the best vantage point to highlight the branches with the leaves, I finally was happy with this composition. For such kind of conditions I only have one word, heavenly.
